1. How long have you been in dermatology and what's your favorite thing about it?

Why do you love being a PA? I love the team approach to medicine and I think PAs are truly proving how vital we are to providing quality and comprehensive care.

What is something unique about you? My older brother and I share the same birthday, four years apart.

We'd like to congratulate Cynthia Trickett, PA-C, MPAS, for having been named one of America's Top PAs for 2018 by the Point of Care Network.

Why do you love being a PA? Its always been my dream career. Even when I was young I was fascinated by how the human body could heal itself and how medicine could improve people’s lives. I am also very social, so I love interacting with patients.

I started what was first called Physician Assistants in Dermatology (PAD) in 1992 because I was very interested in how many derm PAs there were at that time. I found out there were six (6) and that I was the only one on the west coast except for one fellow in the Army in Washington State.
