In our continuing effort to provide the dermatology PA community, and specifically SDPA members, greater visibility, we are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new member benefit; “Find a Dermatology PA.” This new member benefit will is now available. You can find the search under the "About" tab - titled "Find a Dermatology PA."
What Does The Search Do?
This new benefits provides the public with the ability to search through our database on current Fellows and Fellow Diplomates by city and state. It will provide the patients, colleagues and others with the ability to find a dermatology PA near them. The search will feature all Fellow and Fellow-Diplomate members of the SDPA and will be open to the public. You must be a current member of the SDPA to be included.
Fellow members who have worked to complete our Distance Learning Initiative (DLI) and gained Diplomate status will be specially identified with a blue “D” next to their name to signify their status.
This is an exciting new way for the SDPA to provide additional service to the community and elevate the awareness of dermatology PAs. Help us spread the word to those who might be looking for a way to find dermatology PAs in their area!
How To Update Your Privacy Settings
Members who do not wish to be included in this search should follow the steps below to change their profile privacy settings. The search results will only display your practice information and does not include email addresses unless you update your personal privacy setting to make this allowable.
To change your profile privacy settings:
- Login to your SDPA member profile
- Navigate to the “Manage Profile” page
- Click on “Edit Bio” under the “Information & Settings” section

lock icon to the left of each profile field to lock them (invisible to anyone but you), make them visible to only members, or keep them visible to anyone (public). An example of your options is below:
- Scroll to the bottom of your member profile and click “Save”.
- Your profile settings are now updated. Be sure to check back periodically and make sure your details are protected how you want.
