Alexandria, VA, January 6, 2025
The Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) is proud to announce exciting developments in our Advocacy and Public Relations efforts as we continue to strengthen our voice and leadership in the dermatology and healthcare sectors.
Killian Lozach Joins as Director of Advocacy and Government Relations
SDPA is thrilled to welcome Killian Lozach as SDPA’s Director of Advocacy & Government Relations, effective December 16, 2024. Lozach brings extensive experience in healthcare advocacy, government relations, and business development. Previously with Woodberry Associates as a senior associate with the Strategic Alliances division, he spearheaded impactful legislative initiatives related to drug market access and reimbursement and directed advocacy efforts for notable nonprofits such as the Derma Care Access Network and the Headache and Migraine Policy Forum. Lozach’s expertise and passion for healthcare innovation will be pivotal as SDPA amplifies its advocacy efforts.
Jennifer Bethke Elevated to Vice President of Education and Events
SDPA is equally excited to announce Jennifer Bethke as Vice President of Education and Events. Bethke, who has been with SDPA since 2022 and previously served as Senior Director of Education & Meetings, has been instrumental in designing and executing premier educational programs for our members, such as the Emerging DermPA Scholars program and multiple well-received pre-conference workshops, including a cosmetics cadaver lab. She will continue to expand SDPA’s commitment to providing innovative, high-quality educational offerings.
Jordan Snelson Strengthens SDPA Messaging, Engagement as Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing
As part of this strategic growth effort, Jordan Snelson, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, will drive SDPA’s marketing, communications, and branding initiatives. Jordan joined the SDPA team in September 2024, bringing a strong proficiency in federal government service and strategic marketing and communications.
“These leadership appointments represent an exciting new chapter for SDPA,” said Krista Paternostro Bower, MPA, CAE, SDPA CEO & Executive Director. “With Killian, Jennifer, and Jordan’s expertise and dedication working with our existing team, we are poised to expand our impact in advocacy, education, and public relations; ultimately strengthening our organization to ensure our members grow, learn, and succeed.”
